Adelaide (South Australia).Between the 9th ultimo and the Ist instant the following box and weight, the property of the South Australian Government, was stolen from the Accountant’s Office in the Lands and Survey Department : A cedar box, 6 in. by 4 in. by 3 in., lined with blue plush; brass case in centre which contained a platinum one-pound weight, 1’35 in. high and lTsin. in diameter, with a groove below the cylinder for insertion of the points of the ivory fork by which it is to be lifted, edges rounded, branded “ P.S.S.A. 1 lb.” ; value, approximately £448. Identifiable. Any in-, formation regarding this property is to be communicated to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington. (P. 21/1521.)
