With reference to the warrants for the arrest of naval ratings who have deserted from H.M.S. “ Chatham,” at Auckland, the Naval authorities notify that rewards are payable to the police officers who effect the arrest of any of the men. The amount payable varies with the .circumstances of the case. The maximum is £6./ ' )
