APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). — John Johnston, failing to parade for medical examination, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1918, page 388.)

Devonport.— Eileen Mary Cecilia Cunningham, inquired for, has been located by the Devonport police. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 429.)

Ellerslie.— Henry Peck, failing to parade for medical examination: Wan cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1918, page 514, and 1920, page 458 )

Ohakune. — Frederick Pauli Bork, missing, has been located. (See Police Gazette, 1919, page 103.)

Wanganui. Oscar Mather, deserting from Expeditionary Force, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1918, page 454.)

Wanganui. — Alfred Allen Matthews, failing to maintain, has been served with a summons by the Wanganui police. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 481.)

Palmerston North.— William Gibbons, alias Dolly Gibbons, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount due to Palmerston North police. (See Police Gazette, 1919, page 766.)

Petone. Percy Higgs, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount due to the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 204.)

Wellington. Wilfred John Barber, alias John Barber, breach of probation, has been located by the Christchurch police. No further action to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 494.)

Christchurch.— Herbert Smith, false pretences, has been arrested by the Napier police. His correct name is Herbert Ormond Solomon. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 466.)

Lyttelton. Jack Sylvester Hogan, alias John Whitty, failing to parade for medical examination, served with the Expeditionary Force under the assumed name John Hill : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 517.)

Lincoln. — George Albert Hedley Nixon, absconding from industrial school, has been arrested by the Wellington police on another charge. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 598.)

Ashburton. — John Robert Scott, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Alexandra police. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 494.)

Dunedin. May Burrell, nee Lotch, escaping from prison, has been arrested by the Wellington police. She is identical with Kitty Stewart, alias Catherine Wong Way, referred to in Police Gazette, 1920, page 198. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 430.)

Dunedin. Robert Hamilton Gifford, absconding from licensed service, has been arrested by the Timaru police. He had assumed the name Bob Wilson. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 484.)

Dunedin. William Theodore Thompson, theft, has been arrested by the Lumsden police. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 373, and Property recovered, this issue.)
