SPECIAL INQUIRY.
Auckland.— At a race meeting held at Auckland on the 29th December and the Ist and 2nd January last ninety-five £1 totalizator tickets were forged and uttered to various members of the totalizator staff. By this means the sum of £443 2s. was obtained from the Auckland Racing Club. Inquiries regarding this offence are to be made by the police, and if any information is obtained a communication is to be sent to the Superintendent of Police, Auckland.
