PROPERTY RECOVERED.
Auckland. STANLEY EDWARD BUCHANAN’S property has been recovered (with the exception of the uniform cap, the silver chain, and the sovereign-case and contents) by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police, and Daniel Minihan convicted for the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1919, page 783.)
Remuera. — WILLIAM WOODWARD’S watch, &c., stolen: The watch has been recovered by the Auckland police. It was pledged for £4 at the Waitemata Loan Company’s shop in Custom Street by a man who gave the name and address John Kinger, farmer, Panmure. (See Police Gazette , 1918, page 640.)
New Plymouth. HOWARD RUSSELL BARTLEY’S dwelling broken into. All the stolen property has been recovered, and Harold Gossage Howard Gardner arrested for the offence by the New Plymouth police. (See Police Gazette , 1920, page 66.)
Wellington. ETHEL BLACK’S jewellery has been found: not stolen. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 76.)
Win ton. — H. E. BROWN’S bicycle has been found abandoned. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 142.)
