PROPERTY RECOVERED.
Ponsonby.— LOUlS BLITZ’S dwelling broken into: It has been ascertained by the Newton police that the offence was committed by complainant’s brother-in-law, Michael Mitchell, who has been sent to a mental hospital. All the stolen property except the money has been recovered. The reward offered has been cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1917 pages 447 and 476.)
Auckland.— ROY DOUGLAS PATERSON’S side-car has been found aband®ned. (See Police Gazette, 1918, page 387.)
