Auckland. —22nd April last, from Customs Street, the property of FRANK R. BLACKMORE, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled New Hudson bicycle, Nos. 12321 and 884850, Eadie Coaster two-speed hub, outrigger handles, back-pedalling brake, rat-trap pedals, Continental tire on back wheel; value, £9. Identifiable.

Karangahake.— Between the Ist April and Ist May last, the property of THOMAS HASSETT, a red-and-white nine-year-old Shorthorn cow, branded “ ON” on rump, may now have a oalf with her ; value, £2O. Identifiable.

W AI RO A - —Between the Ist and Bth ultimo, from a case while in transit between Gisborne and Wairoa, via Napier, per s.s. “Arahura” and the schooner “ Te Aroha,” the property of J. MYERS AND CO., Wellington, a box containing fifty Ardath cigars, a box containing forty Windsor cigars, twelve Loewe pipes, a Hygradi brier pipe, a City brier pipe, nine silver-mounted tobacco-pouches, a goldmounted cigarette-holder, eight silver-and-gold-mounted cigarette-holders in silver cases, nine silver - mounted cigarette-holders, eight silver-mounted brier pipes, and a Bengali and a Christopher Johnson razor; total value £l4 9s. Identifiable.

Palmerston North.— 2sth May last, from the yard at the Railway Buffet Private Hotel, the property of CECIL BROWNING, letter-carrier, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel bicycle with yellow lines, No. 686, 26 in. frame, back-pedalling brake, Crown transfer; value, £8 10s. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Andrew, hotel porter, native of India, slight build, dark complexion, black hair.

Wellington. —loth May last, from outside the Caledonian Hotel, Adelaide Road, the property of ARTHUR EDWARD SANG, Tair Street, Miramar, a gentlemen’s XL bicycle, No. 37486, upturned handles (no grips), backpedalling brake, Eadie Coaster hub, brazed left pedal, steel hand-made saddle-springs, two outer covers on front wheel, red tire on back wheel; value, £5. Identifiable.

Christchurch.— llth May last, from Chancery the property of WILLIAM J. BRENNAN, 16 Kilmore Street, a gentlemen’s black-lacquered free-wheel bioyole, No. 83752, high handles, hand brakes, steel mud-guards; value, £6 10s. Identifiable.

Christchurch.— l3th May last, from the Opera House, Tuam Street, the property of ALFRED KEMBLE, 72 St. Albans Street, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled freewheel B.S.A. bicycle, No. 1059, wide outrigger handles with black-and-white-striped grips, rat-trap pedals, celluloid mudguards, back-pedalling brake, dent in top bar, Dunlop tire on front wheel, new red tire on back wheel; value, £B. Christchurch.— 6th May last, from the Post-office yard, the property of WILFRED JOHN HICKMAN, telegraph messenger, Sydenham, a gentlemen’s free-wheel Star bicycle, No. Adams makers, straight handles (no grips), red wooden block pedals, two brakes, no brake-blocks on back brake, Dunlop tire on front wheel, Britannica West Coast Speoial tire on back wheel, front mud - guard riveted in centre ; value, £3 10s. Identifiable.

Christchurch.— llth May last, from a yard at 61 Papanui Road, the property of PERCY BOLTON HAGGITT, a ladies’ free-wheel Congreve bioycle, No. 7611, curved handles with black grips, front brake, rubber pedals, black steel rims, black mud-guards; value, £6. Identifiable.

Woolston. —Between the 24th May last and the 14th ultimo, from a stable, the property of HENRY FREDERICK LANE, tanner, Victoria Terrace, a gentlemen’s saddle . Methven.— 27th April last, from a yard at Shemeld’s store, the property of FRANK OFIELD, farm labourer, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled Royal Superb Swift bicycle, upturned handles with black grips, rat-trap pedals, Couch saddle, celluloid mud-guards (front one broken); value, £B. Identifiable.

Timaru. —Between the Bth April and Bth May last, from a bedroom at the Empire Hotel, the property of JOSEPHINE KENNING, “The Lodge,” Hereford Street, a ladies’gold ring, set with a large pale opal in centre, surrounded with diamonds ; value, £2O. Identifiable.
