APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Dargaville.— Sydney Williams, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount due to the Dargaville police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 2.)

Auckland.— Joseph Summers Barlow, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1913, page 177.)

Auckland.— Joseph Fletcher, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Huntly police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 127.)

Te Aroha. — Leo Froben, absconding from licensed service, has been arrested by the Hamilton police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 787.)

Tauranga. — Alexander Waldemar, absent from ship without leave: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 263.)

Te Kuiti.— Lawrence Gilsenan, illegally keeping liquor for sale, has been served with a summons by the Tokomaru Bay police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 112.)

Gisborne.— Harold James Williams, alias James Smith, alias Thomas Harrold, deserting from Expeditionary Force, is now in Napier Prison. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 298.)

Gisborne. Thomas Stewart Douglas Scott, breach of his prohibition order : Information withdrawn. (See Police Gazette, 1913, page 628.)

Wairoa. — Richard Hollis, default of fine and costs: Warrants cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 450, and 1915, page 736.)

Taumarunui.— Frederick Chilcott, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount due to the Foxton police. He had assumed the name Fred Buchanan. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 769.)

Patea.— Andrew Coleman, failing to provide: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 266.)

Palmerston North.— J. Derry, forgery and uttering, has been arrested by the Napier police. He had assumed the name Harry Peterson. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 237, and following paragraph.)

Eketahuna. -Jack Robinson, alias Harry Peters, breaking and entering, has been arrested by the Napier police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 225, and preceding paragraph.)
