APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland. —A. R. P. Beste, false pretences : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 723.)

Hastings. -John O’Neill, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount due to the Napier police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 57.)

Bull’s.— Benjamin Studley, default of fine, has paid Die amount due to the Gisborne and Te Karaka police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 144.)

Foxton.— Arthur McKeg'ney, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Tokaanu police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 144.)

Pahiatua. —Thomas Milne, aims Anderson, breaking and entering, has been arrested by the Hastings police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 57.)

Wellington.— George Clements, absent from Expeditionary Force, has been located by the Blenheim police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 88.)

Wellington.— Howard Paton Candy, forgery, has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1901, page 167.)

Wellington.— Ernest Clement Evans, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 58.)

Wellington. —Joseph Joseph, ship-desertion and unlawfully landing in New Zealand : Warrants cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1916, pages 266, 620, and 755.)

Wellington. —M. O’Malley, deserting from Expeditionary Force, has been arrested by the Timaru police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 100.)

Blenheim. Timothy F. Maloney, forgery, has been arrested by the Shannon police. He had assumed the name of J. L. Ryan. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 508.)

Reefton. — Edward Martin, illegally on licensed premises, has been served with a notice of fine by the Blackwater police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 440.)

Christchurch. Charlies Smith, theft, has been arrested bv the Taranaki Street (Wellington) police, and the stolen property recovered. He is identical with Percy Ericksen, alias Peter Ericksen, alias Frederick Bowman, referred to in Police Gazette , .1917, page 70. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 886.)

Christchurch. Alexander McKenzie, theft, has been arrested by the Clyde and Cromwell police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 886.)

Invercargill. —Charles Robert Milne, missing, has been located. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 60.)
