ABSCONDERS FROM INDUSTRIAL SCHOOLS.
Levin. —28th ultimo, from Weraroa Industrial School, Edvard Ernest Green, age thirteen, height about 5 ft., native of New Zealand, medium build, sallow complexion, dark hair and eyes; dressed in grey-tweed knickerbockers, blue jersey with red bands on cuffs, striped blue cotton shirt, and lace-up boots. Clothing should be numbered “ 31.”
Leeston. —16th ultimo, from the licensed service of George Sheat, Dunsandel, Francis Halligan, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 9in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, good build, fair complexion, light-brown hair, blue eyes, prominent nose, scar under lower lip; well dressed in greenish sac suit, double linen collar, soft-felt hat, and black lace-up boots. He was licensed out from Burnham Industrial School. (See Police Gazette, 1913, page 417.)
