Auckland. —WILLIAM HACK’S harness has been recovered by the Auckland police, and John Hogan arrested for the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 403.)
Epsom. —BENJAMIN ARMITAGE’S cart has been recovered by the Auckland police. A hawker named Barrett is suspected of having stolen it. He is described as follows : Age about thirty-five to forty, height about 5 ft. 6 in. ; dirty appearance. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 107.)
Hastings. —Postal packet stolen : Eleanor Mildred Furniss has been charged with this offence by the Hastings police, and the stolen property recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 434.)
Dannevirke. —WILLIAM JENSEN’S watch, &c., stolen : Patrick Joseph McGrath has been arrested for this offence by the Porangahau police, and the stolen property recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 418.)
