He is a member of the Territorial Force, and has a khaki overcoat and rifle with him.

Hunterville. 26th ultimo, on warrant for theft of a three-quarter length tweed overcoat (with a piece about 4 in. square out of the lining near the bottom), value £2, the property of Frank Redman, William Potten age twentyfive, height 5 ft. 6 in., native of New Zealand, fair hair, ruddy complexion, projecting upper jaw; usually works about hotels. Upon arrest she may be disposed to disclose the name and address of the man, and, if so, an immediate telegraphic communication is to be sent to the Superintendent of Police, Dunedin.
