APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland.— William Jones, indecent exposure, has been arrested by Constable A. Mackintosh, Stratford police. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 381.)

Thames. —G. W. Gardner, alias George Thomas Sullivan, alias Sutherland, false pretences, has been arrested by Acting-Detective Powell, on information supplied by Acting-Detective Issell, Auckland police, and committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. (See Police Gazette, 1909, pages 191 and 455.)

Napier.— James Wilson, default of maintenance, has been found by Sergeant Beattie at Taihape. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 23.)

Feilding. — Percy William Gibbs, disobeying maintenance order, has been arrested by Constable Larmer, Porangahau police, and remanded to Feilding. (See Police Gazette, 1906, page 227.)

Wellington. Thomas Quinn, deserting from the “Clan Grant,” has been arrested by Constable J. A. Dempsey, Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 38.)

Blenheim.— John William Burke, theft, has been arrested by Constable Sheary, Takaka police, and remanded to Blenheim. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 46.)

Blenheim. — Alexander Martin, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable A. Bird, Culverden police, and discharged. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 2.)

Christchurch. Henry Cox, theft, has been arrested by Constables Hannafin and O’Grady, Riccarton and Timaru police. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 46.)

Christchurch.— Herbert Barnett, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable M. Leahy, Oxford police. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 56.)

Timaru. John McKellar, ship-desertion, has been arrested by Sergeant Ryan and Constable Carney, Lyttelton police. His correct name is John McLellan. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 25.)

Dunedin.— Henry Philip Cranley, disobeying order of Court, has been arrested by Constable L. Fox, Christchuroh police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 484.)

Invercargill. — James McMillen Macandrew, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable Packer, Invercargill police. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 57.)

Bluff.— Edgar Tustain, deserter from H.M.S. “ Penguin,” is not now wanted by the naval authorities. (See Police Gazette, 1904, page 189.)

Sydney. John S. Moore, deserter from H.M.S. “ Challenger,” has been arrested at Melbourne. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 47.)

Sydney. Philip Harold Knowles and Robert Wade, deserters from H.M.S. “ Encounter,” have returned on board. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 47.)
