APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland. —Leonard Richardson, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Detective D. Connolly, Gisborne police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 37.)

Auckland.— Charles Stanley Steer, default of fine, has been arrested by Acting - Detectives Powell and I s sell, Auckland police, and lodged in Mount Eden Prison (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 2.)

Auckland.— John Douglas Proctor, absconding apprentice, has been arrested by Constable Tapp, Maungaturoto police, on information supplied by Constable Rogers, Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 485.)

Onehunga. —Arthur Yetcher, theft, has been arrested by Detectives McMahon and Quartermain, Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 45.)

Gisborne. Robert Hastie, missing friend, was drowned at Gisborne on 27th ultimo. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 40.)

Napier. — James Johnston, default of fine, has been arrested by Detective Connolly, Gisborne police, on information supplied by Constable Bevan, Wairoa police, and lodged in prison. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 285.)

Taumarunui. — John Martin, missing friend, has been found. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 28.)

Wellington. — William James Imrie, false pretences, has been arrested by Constable E. J. Hanlon, Okarito police, on information supplied by Acting-Detective Cameron, Wellington police, and sentenced to three months. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 106.)

Wellington.— David Alexander McKay, failing to provide for the maintenance of bis wife and children, has been arrested by Constable Burrell, Napier police, and remanded to Wellington. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 38.)

Wellington. —Charles Henry Fish, theft, has been arrested by Acting-Detective Powell, Auckland police, and sentenced to one month on this and two other charges. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 24.)

Christchurch.— John West, default of fine, has paid the amount due to Constable Collins, Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 38.)

Christchurch. —Alfred Maughty Gateley, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable Perniskie, Pleasant Point police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 38.)

Timaru. — P. Helon and P. Elfrerson, ship-deser-tion: Warrants cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 25.)

Dunedin. — Walter Broad has been found by Constable McKean, Dunedin police, and returned to his parents. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 40.)

Dunedin. — John Dix, disobeying maintenance order Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 460.)

Invercargill. — Frederick Osborne Lepine, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Detective J. Fahey, Timaru police, on information supplied by Detective A. Mitchell, Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1911, pages 25 and 38.)

Invercargill.— Ernest Shepherd, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable Joyce, Otautau police, on information supplied by Detective Cameron, Invercargill police. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 526.)

Invercargill. —William Taylor, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable Chapman on a charge of lunacy, and committed to Sunnyside Mental Hospital. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 492.)

Hobart.— James P. Lyons and Charles H. Watkins, deserters from 11.M.5. “ Pyramus,” have returned on board. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 40.)

Western Australia. — H. Douglas Lockhart has been located by Constable W. Grey, Hunterville police. He is at present working at the Rata Dairy Factory. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 28.)
