MISSING.
Gisborne. — Since 28th ultimo, Robert Hastie, age fifty-seven, height 5 ft. B in., labourer and seaman, native of England, medium build, fair complexion, fair hair and beard turning grey, blue eyes; usually wears grey-tweed suit. On the above date be was the worse of liquor and intended going aboard the dredge, but has not been seen since.
Dunedin. Since 11th instant, Daniel Scarfe, age sixty-one, height 6 ft., weight about 14 st., native of England, fresh complexion, dark hair turning grey, dark beard and moustache cut short (turning grey); dressed in dark trousers and vest and an old coat of different c lours, heavy boots, and hard black hat. He was sexton in charge of the Church of England Cemetery. Pears are entertained for his safety, as he was recently very despondent.
Dunedin. Since 10th instant, Walter Broad, age fourteen, small for age, red hair, blue eyes, pale complexion ; dressed in striped brown coat and knickers, navy-blue cap, soft blue shirt with stripe running through it. He was employed at Sargood’s Boot factory, and left suddt nly. Inquiry by his father.
