Auckland.— About 13th ultimo, from High Street, the property of GREY THORNE GEORGE, engineer, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled Comet free-wbeel bicycle, 28 in. wheels, Dunlop tires, raised handle-bars, rat-trap pedals, pitch-roller chain, brake, and mud guards ; value, £6. Identifiable.

Rawene. —Between the 27th and 29th ultimo, from the shop of ALBERT WILLIAMS, ten £1 notes; £4 in mixed silver; a cheque drawn by A. O. Smith on Bank of New Zealand, at Auckland, No. 847287, for £3O, and payable to A. E. Williams ; a cheque drawn by the Hokianga Dairy Company (Limited), on Bank of New South Wales, Rawene, No. 127, for £5 10s. Id., payable to T. Donnelly; a cheque drawn by William Grounds on Bank of New South Wales, Rawene, No. 2403, for £3, payable to A. C. Garborough.

First, age twenty-two, height 5 ft. 6 in., engineer, native of New Zealand, sallow complexion, light-brown hair, brown eyes, broad nose, scar on left cheek and nose, impediment in speech (see Police Gazette, 1909, page 329). Second, age about twenty-five height about 5 ft. 8 in., clean-shaved ; dressed in dark suit.

Ponsonby. — Between the Ist November last and 16th instant, from a building, the property of JAMES BROOKER, carpenter, three chisels (ljin., ljin., fin.), a bead plane and bevel, “A. H. C.” cut in handle of each; a half-round plane and a smoothing-plane, “ J. B.” stamped in handle of each: value, £1 ss. Identifiable.

Ohaeawai. —About 10th ultimo, from [a paddock, the property of SAMUEL RADOJOKOVICH, farmer, three allred steers, a white steer, five spotted steers, a red heifer, and a spotted heifer, some of them branded “ R 6 ” and some “ V,” some of them ear-marked with notch out of top and bottom of right ears and a notch out of bottom of left ears, others have a half-moon out of bottom of left ears ; value, £33. Identifiable.

Ohaeawai. —Between the 9th and 24th November last, from a paddock, the property of ERNEST HONECK, farmer, forty two lambs, wethers have half-circle out of bottom of right ear and triangle out of end of tip at top, the left ear has a triangle out of ear (top side) ; the ewes have the same ear marks on opposite ears; ten ewes were also stolen : value, £3O. Gisborne. —11th ultimo, from Gladstone Road, the property of CLAUDE HAMILTON, a gentlemen’s old blackenamelled free-wheel bicycle, drop handles, no grips, rat-trap pedals, hand-brake on front wheels, no mud-guards, Brooks saddle, roller chain ; value, £5. Identifiable.

Hastings. —Between 24th and 28th ultimo, from Station Street, the property of KATE O’BRIEN, a ladies’ B.S.A. bicycle, No. 10762, “ Built for J. H. Farrelly ” on transfer on head of machine, Brooks saddle, red and black net dressguard ; value, £B. Identifiable.

Masterton. —14th instant, from the motor-cycle of SAMUEL J. WILLS, Wellington, a gentlemen’s nearly new waterproof brown suit of motor-cyclist’s overalls, coat 40 in. chest, “The Bee Bee” worksd on a small label on middle of inside of back, legs of pants are separate and buttoned up outside, boot-straps, a tear newly sewn on inside of top right leg, a Dunlop outfit in pocket of coat; value, £3 ss. Christchurch. —28th November last, from the railwayyard, the property of the NEW ZEALAND RAILWAY DEPARTMENT, a pipe-vice, may be branded “W. W.” ; value, £1 Bs. Identifiable.

Rakaia. — 11th instant, from an outhouse, the property of ELEANOR MARY BULLER, a double-reined English-made bridle, plated bit; value, £1 Is. Identifiable. Suspicon attached to a Swagger, name unknown, who offered the bridle for sale on the above date, age about twenty-five, height 5 ft. 8 in., dark complexion and hair ; dressed in blue coat, light-coloured vest and trousers (well worn and rather dirty), and a green-tweed hat.

Rakaia. —l3th instant, from KERWIN BUCKTHOUGHT, a suit of green-coloured tweed, size about 5, tailor-made in England, value £3 ; a dark-grey rainproof overcoat, “ Rainproof ”in red on back of the collar, value £1; a pair of light boots, size 6, value ss. Suspicion attached to a Man, name unknown, a circus attendant, age twenty - two, height 5 ft. 7 in., native of Canada, dark complexion and hair, clean-shaved ; supposed dressed in the stolen clothes and hard black hat. He was recently employed at Wirth’s circus, and was known to the complainant as Ciril.

Rakaia. —9th instant, from the railway-station platform the property of TIMOTHY RIORDAN, a swag, consisting of two grey blankets, about 7 ft. long, well worn ; a new grey flannel; a new dungaree jumper, size 7; a pair of heavy boots, plates on heels and toes ; a pair of grey socks: value, £2 10s.
