ABSCONDING FROM INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL.
Lincoln. — Edwin Stuart Agnew, age twenty, height 5 ft. 8 in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, slight build, freckled pasty complexion, thin face, brown hair, grey eyes, weak mouth and chin, hesitating speech ; dressed in brownmoleskin coat, grey-moleskin trousers, and blue-serge cap. Absconded on 23rd September, 1910. His mother resides at 7 Arawa Street, Auckland. Donald John McDonald, age twenty, height 5 ft. 8 in., farm labourer, native of v New Zealand, stout build, brown hair, blue eyes, fair freckled complexion; fond of drink ; dressed in brown-cord trousers, pepper-and-salt tweed coat and vest, tweed cap. Absconded 13th November, 1910. His father resides with his sister, Mrs. Brown, Beach Street, St. Clair, Dunedin. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 424.) Richard James Thomas, age seventeen, height 5 ft. sin., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, good build, red hair, brown eyes, fair freckled complexion, birth-mark on front of right leg; dressed in dark-grey tweed sac suit, tweed cap, lace-up boots. Absconded 13th November, 1910. His mother resides at Pollen Street, Auckland.
Arthur O’Leary, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 7 in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, slight build, brown hair, hazel eyes, fair fresh complexion ; dressed in greenishcoloured sac suit with split up the back of the coat, tweed cap, light lace-up boots. Absconded 20th November, 1910. His mother resides at 26 Dickens Street, Addington, Christchurch .
George Albert Walter Edwards, age nineteen* height 5 ft. 6 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, good build, dark freckled complexion, brown eyes with sly expression, dark-brown hair; dressed in dark-grey tweed sac suit, tweed cap, lace-up boots. Absconded 11th ultimo. His sister, Mrs. Bridgens, resides at 57 Ardmore Road, Auckland. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 392.) Invercargill. Alexander Simpson, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 6 in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark complexion and hair, blue eyes, cleanshaved ; dressed in dark-grey tweed suit and cap, carrying a portmanteau. He absconded from licensed service with A. Simpson, farmer, West Plains, on 15th ultimo, and was licensed to him from the Weraroa Training Farm, Levin. His mother resides at Deveron Street, Invercargill.
