Auckland. —Constable J. J. Power, No. 1408, has been awarded £1 by the Customs Department for services in connection with the conviction of a fireman on the s.s. “ Morayshire ” for having uncustomed tobacco in his possession. (10/2.)
Wanganui. —Constable T. J. Liston, No. 1269, has been awarded £1 for the arrest of W. R. Kells, an absconder from Burnham Industrial School. (10/846.) Wellington.— Constable F. Longbottom, No. 1262, has been awarded £1 for the arrest of William McGaughey, an absconder from Weraroa Training Farm. (10/846.) Wellington. —Constable H. C. Fitzsimmons, No. 1005, Wakefield police, has been awarded £1 for the arrest of James Seukup, an absconder from the industrial school. (10/846.) Christchurch. —Constable W. J. Hampton, No. 770, has been awarded £1 for the arrest of Thomas K. Archibald, an absconder from the industrial school. (10/846.) Christchurch. —Constable J. P. Clarkson, No. 823, has been awarded £1 for the arrest of John H. F. Richards, an absconder from the industrial school. (10/846.)
Dunedin. —Constable D. Macßae, No. 469, has been awarded 10s. for services in connection with the conviction of James Milne for sending liquor into a nodicense district without notifying the Clerk of the Court. (10/2254.)
Dunedin.— Constable D. B. Murray, No. 1096, has been awarded 10s. for services in obtaining the conviction of Arthur Mackie for unlawfully sending liquor into a nolicense district. (10/2255.) Dunedin.— Constable J. Smart, No. 1171, has been awarded £5 6s. Bd., and Acting-Detective J. N. Thomson, No. 925, £2 13s. 4d., for the arrest of William John Wills, a deserter from H.M.S. “ Powerful.” (10/2.)
