Rewards. Auckland.— Sergeant H. Beattie, No. 538, and Constable J. Maher, No. 857, have been awarded £1 each for servioes in connection with the oonviotion of W. Bosley for failing to label liquor for a no-license district. (10/1156.)
Auckland. —Constable W. H. Rogers, No. 1363, has been awarded £8 for the arrest of Leonard Cuffe, alias C. Lowe, for deserting from H.M.S. “ Pioneer.” (10/2.) Auckland. —Sergeant A. E. Rowell, No. 684, has been awarded £1 for services in connection with the conviction of Henry Beer for sly-grog selling. (10/934.)
Thames. —Constable E. Woodley, No. 1137, has been awarded £1 for services in connection with the conviotion of T. Kenealy and Co. for sending liquor into a no-license district without notifying the Clerk of the Court. (10/1120.) Thames. —Constable J. Henry, No. 753, has been awarded £1 for services in connection with the conviction of Thomas Flynn, at Waihi, for taking liquor into a no-license district without notifying the vendor. (10/1135.) Christchurch.— Sergeant J. Burrows, No. 472 a, has been awarded £2, and Acting-Detective C. S. Osborne, No. 985, and Constable M. J. Carney, No. 1288, £1 10s. eaoh, for services in connection with the conviction of David McGavin and J. Carkeek for sly-grog selling. (10/1159.) Dunedin.— Constable C. W. Lopdell, No. 988 j has been awarded £2 for services in connection with the convictions obtained against Roope and Co., John Bouchier* A. M. Plank, and others for failing to notify the Clerk of the Court at Balclutba that liquor had been sent into a nolicense district. (10/1137.)
