Rewards. Auckland.— Native Constable Moore has been awarded £1 10s. for services in connection with the conviction of John Hanfling for supplying liquor to a Native for consumption off the premises. (09/2103.) Auckland. Constable J. A. Mathew, No. 831, has been awarded £1 10s., and Native Constable Te Motu Heta £l,
for services in connection with the conviction of A. J. Hawthorne for delivering liquor in a no-license district without being labelled. (09/2095.) Auckland. —Constables J. W. Robinson, No. 1273, and J. P. Flynn, No. 1500, have been awarded £4 each for services in connection with the arrest of Thomas A. Hamilton, a deserter from H.M.S. “ Challenger.” (09/65.) Wellington. Sergeant B. Rutledge, No. 489, and Constable M. Cox, No. 333 a, have been awarded £2 each for services in connection with the conviction of Peter Hartshorn for sly-grog selling (09/2107.) Greymouth. —Sergeant J. Black, No. 577, and Constable W. J. Simpson, No. 1371, have been awarded 10s. each by the Customs Department for services in connection with the conviction of Gin Mow for having opium in his possession. (09/65.) Christchurch. —Sergeant T. Griffith, No. 433, has been awarded £5, Constable W. Langmuir, No. 1211, £3, Constables F. J. Doak, No. 1187, and G. Macartney, No. 905, £2 each, for services in oonvictions obtained against Edward J. Green and J. Taylor for sly-grog selling. (09/1944.)
