Rewards

Thames. —Constable J. Butler, No. 883, has been awarded £1 10s. for services in connection with the conviction of Denis Fitzgerald for bringing liquor into a prohibited district; (09/1707.) Thames. —Sergeant W. H. McKinnon, No. 388, and Constable T. B. Miles, No. 1119, have been awarded £1 each for services in connection with the conviction of E. B. Dufaur for sending liquor into a prohibited district without labelling it. (09/1706.) Wanganui. Sergeant H. Beattie, No. 538, has been awarded £l, and'Constable Annison, No. 1049, £2 10s., for services in connection with the conviction of John Bibby for sly-grog selling. (09/1555.) Wellington.— Constables J. Quinn, No. 1341, and J. Melville, No. 1531, have been awarded £1 ss. each for services in connection with the conviction of Leonard Russell for sly-grog selling. (09/1622.) Greymouth. —Constable A. Brookes, No. 1230, has been awarded £8 for the arrest of Percy G. Hester, a deserter from H.M.S. “Pioneer.” (09/65.) Dunedin. —Constable J.
