Lincoln. Joseph Talke, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 7 in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, slight build, thin pale faoe, fair hair and complexion, slightly freckled, sharp features; dressed in blue jersey, brown-oord trousers, and blue-dungaree coat. Absconded on 24th ultimo. Committed from Marton for theft. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 345.) John Arthur Willis, age eighteen, height l 5 ft. 6Jin., engine-driver, stoker, and farm hand, medium build, darkbrown hair, dark complexion, brown eyes, long nose, scar over left eye, mole on left breast; dressed in brown cord trousers, grey-tweed coat, and cap. Committed from Napier for theft. His mother resides at Hastings. Absconded on 24th ultimo.

Charles Henry Willoughby, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 9in., farm labourer, fresh ruddy complexion, brown eyes, dark-brown hair, takes a long stride when walking; dressed in dark-tweed suit and large straw hat. Committed from New Plymouth in 1904 for theft. Alexander Third, age thirteen, height 4 ft. 10 in., medium build, dark complexion, brown hair and eyes, rather determined appearance, thin cheeks; dressed in dark-grey

saddle-tweed knickers, blue jersey, Eton collar, black stockings, and cap. Committed from Gisborne for theft. Absconded on 18th ultimo.

Albert William Foote, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 9 in., farm hand, well built, brown hair and eyes, fresh freckled complexion; dressed in dark tweed suit. Committed from Dannevirke for breaking and entering and theft. Parents reside at Gisborne. Absconded 29th ultimo.

Thomas Henry Moody, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 6 in., groom and farm hand, medium build, light-brown hair, blue eyes, fair complexion, large nose, thin features, scar over left eye; dressed in dark-tweed suit.
