MISSING.
Mount Cook. —Since September last, Raymond Victor Dawson, age sixjtedn, height 5 ft. siqj., driver, native of New Zealand, sßg|[tybuila, fair grey eyes, front teeth prominentia have gone up-country. Inquiry by his mother; Elizabeth Dawson, Adelaide Road, Berhampore, as she is anxious as to his whereabouts.
Island Bay. Since 27th February last, Ethel M. Sifflect, age about seventeen, height about 4 ft., domestic servant, native of New Zealand, very stout build, dark complexion, dark hair usually in curls, dark eyes ; when last seen was wearing dark clothes and white sailor hat. She was boarded out to her mother at Island Bay, and was employed at Cliff House Tea-rooms, Island Bay. Inquiry by Education Department.
Hokitika. Since 25th ultimo, Frederick Arthur Boyes, age fqjd;y-four, height 5 ft. 10 in. or 11 in., minemanager, native of New Zealand, clean-shaved, slightly bald, dark hair turning grey/Ssallow complexion; generally wears dark-grey tweed suit and hard black-felt hat; reserved manner. He has been rather despondent, and fears are entertained for his safety.
Queenstown. —Since the 16th October last, Thomas Wilson, age thirty-five, height 6 ft., shepherd, native of New Zealand, medium build, active appearance, fair moustache only, third finger of right hand missing; wearing bluevicuna coat and vest, and drab - coloured Bedford-cord pants, soft light-coloured shirt, and light lace-up boots ; fond of drink. He was employed as head shepherd on the Kawarau Falls Station. It is now believed that he is insane, and fears are entertained as to his safety. Inquiry by Daniel Mcßride, by whom Wilson was employed. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 474.)
