Wellington.-- -CHARLES JONES’S watch has been recovered by Acting-Detective W. Lewis, Wellington police, from W. Schwartz, second-hand dealer, Manners Street, who bought it on the 11th instant from a man who gave the name of C. Lucas, and false address, age about thirty-eight, height about sfc. 10 in. or 11 in., strong build, darkish complexion, supposed to have moustache only ; dressed in darkgrey sac coat and cap. Identifiable by W. Schwartz. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 218.)v/
