ABSENTEES FROM HIS MAJESTY’S SERVICE.

From H.M.S. “ Powerful ,” at Wellington. Henry D. Shutt, age twenty, height 5 ft. 5 in., seaman, fair hair, blue eyes, fresh complexion, girl’s head tattooed on right forearm. John Reeve, age twenty-one, height 5 ft. 5 in., qualified signalman, brown hair, grey eyes, fresh complexion. Herbert] Sharp, age thirty-one, height 5 ft. 3 in., first-class stoker, dark-brown hair, dark - grey eyes, fresh complexion. Absent on 9th May, 1907. Henry Bivins, age twenty-five, height 5 ft. 2§ in., first-class stoker, brown hair, hazel eyes, fresh complexion, burn-scar on right forearm. Arthur Stibbs, age twenty-five, height 5 ft. 2/ in., gunner, dark-brownpiair, brown eyes, dark complexion. Frederick Shoebridge, age twenty-seven, height 5 ft. in., gunner, light-brown hair, grey eyes, fresh complexion, flags tattooed on right forearm, numerous indistinct tattoo-marks on back of left hand and left forearm. George Ldhon, age twenty-five, 5 ft. 6 J in., stoker, black hair, grey eyes, dark complexion. Ernest Tidbury, age twenty-four, height 5 ft. 3 in., stoker, brown hair, grey eyes, fresh complexion; crown, bird, flower, star, clasped hands, soldier’s head, &c., on right arm ; circus woman-on left arm; “ Unite ”on right wrist. James Gambling, age twenty six, height 5 ft. 2|- in., stoker, brown hair, grey eyes, fresh complexion. Frederick Hawkins, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 7 in., signalman, brown hair, hazel eyes, fresh complexion, scar on back of right wrist. Absent on 10tli May. John Port, age twenty-three, height 5 ft. 4 in., A. 8., black hair, hazel eyes, dark complexion, burn-scar on left arm. Absent on 15th May, 1907. A reward of £3 will be paid for the apprehension of each.

From H.M.S. “ Encounter ,” at Wellington. On 10th May, 1907. Ernest George Price, age twenty-nine, height 5 ft. 6 in., second - class painter, native of England, brown hair, blue eyes, fresh “ a ” and “ A ” on left arm, “ W.H.” on A reward of £3 will be paid for his apprehension.

From H.M.S. “ Pioneer, ” at Wellington. On 10th May, 1907. George Hollinshead, age twenty-one, height 5 ft. in., signalman, native of England, light-brown hair, blue eyes, fresh complexion, scar on inside of left leg. A reward of £1 will be paid for his apprehension.
