DESERTERS FROM HIS MAJESTY’S SERVICE.

From H.M.S. “ Cambrian ,” at Hobart. On 21st February, 1907. Victor J. Thomas, age twenty, height 5 ft. 2 in., seaman, native of England, brown hair and eyes, fair complexion. A reward not exceeding £3 will be paid for his apprehension.

From H.M.S. “ Pyramus,” at Hobart. On 21st February, 1907. Edward H. Jackson, age twenty, height 5 ft. 6 in., black hair, brown eyes, seaman, native of Tasmania, ruddy complexion, coat of arms (Australia) on right forearm, American coat of arms on left forearm. A reward not exceeding £3 will be paid for his apprehension.

From H.M.S. “ Prometheus ,” at Sydney. On 23rd February, 1907. Lawrence McCarthy, age twenty-four, height 5 ft. 7 in., native of Ireland, stoker, brown hair, hazel eyes, ruddy complexion, left little finger deformed. A reward not exceeding £3 will be paid if he is placed in Naval custody before 23rd February, 1909.

From. H.M.S. “ Pegasus ,” at Brisbane. On 27th February, 1907. Herbert W. Hood, twenty-two, height 5 ft. in., domestic, native of England, fair hair, grey eyes, fresh complexion, birth-mark on left breast. A reward of £1 is offered for his apprehension.
