Rewards.
Sergeant J. S. Kelly, No. 87, and Constable A. Holliday, No. 1196, Auckland police, have been awarded £4 each for the arrest of R. Hamilton, H. Keen, H. Dowdell, and R. Alcroft, absentees from H.M.S. “ Powerful.” (06/22.)
Constable T. Gibson, No/ 1030, Christchurch police, has been awarded £1 10s. for the arrest of H. P. Piper, M. Bradbury, and J. McGrath, absentees from H.M.S. “ Challenger.”
Constable A. Holliday, No. 1196, has been awarded £8 for the arrest of F. Peel, a deserter from H.M.S. “ Prometheus,” at Auckland. (06/22.)
Constable T. O’Grady, No. 1020, Newton police, has been awarded £2 for the arrest of J. Brown, an absentee from H.M.S. “ Powerful.” (06/22.)
