(See Police Gazette, 1902, page 269.) Rawene. —Claude C. Courtney’s horse has been found straying.
Wairoa. —James Halliburton, shepherd, Mohaka, reports stolen, on the 19th February last, a half-draught chestnut gelding, aged, about 15J hands high, white blaze down the face, two white hind legs; value, £2O. Identifiable.
Martinborough.— Robert Wadbam, livery-stable keeper, reports stolen, on the 11th or 12th instant, a brown hack gelding, aged, branded with half-circle on near shoulder ; a black hack mare, aged, white rings round both eyes, no brands: value, £25 each. Both had covers on branded R.W. in tar, also maker’s name (Hudson, Carterton) on near side ; value, £2. Identifiable.
