From H. M. S. Archer at Lyttelton. On 28th, November, 1901. Thomas William Beecham, A. 8., a native of Birmingham, twenty-three years of age, 5 ft. 3 in. high, dark brown hair, brown eyes, fresh complexion, false upper and lower teeth (see Police Gazette, pages 214 and 224), A reward of £3 will be paid for his apprehension in addition to £5 from the Colonial Government.

From H.M.S. “ Wallaroo,” at Sydney. On 2nd, 4th, and 6th November, 1901. William John Henry Sillence, seaman, twenty-four years of age, a native of England, oft. in. high, darkbrown hair, hazd eyes, dark complexion, red spot under right eye. Deserted on the 2nd November.

Samuel Shawcross, stoker, twenty-one years of age, a native of England, 5 ft. 2|in. high, brown eyes, soald scar on left arm, scar on right side of nose. Deserted on the 4th November.
