Absconding from Industrial School.
(See Police Gazette , 1900, page 221.) James Cavill Riddler, who absconded from the Burnham Industrial School, has been arrested for forgery by Constable J. Madden, Pleasant Point police, and is to come up for sentence at the Supreme Court, Timaru.
Frederick G. Semb absconded from the Burnham Industrial School on the 25th June last. Description: Eighteen years of age, 5 ft. 5 in. high, fair curly hair, blue eyes, pleasant manners ; was transferred from Caversham, and will probably make for Dunedin.
Thomas Gardiner absconded from the Burnham Industrial School on the 25th June last. Description : Eighteen years of age, 5 ft. 4 in. high, nearly white nair, cast in one eye, heavy loutish appearance ; was transferred from Caversham, and will probably make for Dunedin.
