Absconding from Industrial School.

Richard Frederick W. Perrin, alias Guinness, who absconded from Burnham Industrial School, was arrested by Constable Casein, Mount Cook Police, and was placed on the s.s. “ Tarawera,” at Wellington, in charge of the fore-cabin steward. On arrival of the boat at Lyttelton no trace of him could be found. Description: A native of New Zealand, eighteen years of age, 5 ft. 11J in. high, slight build, fair com-
plexion, no hair on face; dressed in grey sac suit, small grey cap, a print shirt with turn-down collar, reddish stripe running through it; slovenly appearance.
