Deserters from Her Majesty’s Service.
From H.M.S. “ Mildura,” at Lyttelton. On 6th November, 1900. Leonard Percy Osborne, boy, first-class, seventeen years of age, a native of England, 5 ft. 5 in. high, light-brown hair, grey eyes, fresh complexion, birthmark on neck. Evan Davies, stoker, twenty-six years of age, a native of Wales, 5 ft. 7 in. high, brown hair, grey eyes, dark complexion, scar on back of right hand. A reward not exceeding £3 each will be paid for the apprehension of the above offenders, in addition to £5 for each man from the Colonial Government, if arrested within two years.

Arthur C. Barnes and John Pease, deserters from H.M.S. “ Porpoise,” purchased from Mark Green, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on the 3rd instant, two suits of navy-blue serge, and golf caps. They left their uniforms at the shop, and said they were going to Pioton for their holidays, and would call for them on their return.
