Escaped Lunatics.
Jam Kim escaped from the Seacliff Asylum on the 31st ultimo. Description : A Chinaman, sixty-seven years of age, 5 ft. 4£in. high, slight build, sallow complexion, dark hair and dark thin beard; dressed in faded moleskin suit, darktweed hat, blucher boots. He was committed from Dunedin in September, 1900, and was previously in the Benevolent Institution, Caversham.
Janet Lawson escaped from the Mount View Asylum, Wellington, on the 17tti instant. Description: A native of New Zealand, thirty-nine years of age, 5 ft. 4 in. high, medium build, fair complexion, fair hair; wearing blue dress and white blouse. She was committed from Petone on the 3rd March last, and has relatives residing in Wellington.
