Missing Friends.
Bernard Wole is inquired for by the Whangarei Police. Description: A native of New Zealand, German descent, a labourer (farm and bush), about twenty-four years of age, about 5 ft. 7 in. high, stout build, dark hair with reddish tinge, dark eyes, walks slightly lame owing to a cut on the knee-cap. Last heard of at Otonga East during March, 1899. Is said to have been in a hospital at Wellington or Napier
some time ago, suffering from typhoid fever. Inquiry is at the instance of Mary Elizabeth Neale, and with the view of proceeding against him for the maintenance of his illegitimate child.
