Absconding from Industrial School.
William Henry Wells, licensed from the Burnham Industrial School, absconded from the service of Mr. M. Bell, Burnham, during the night of the 12th instant, taking with him all his clothes in a black-canvas bag. He is fifteen years and three months of age, tall, well grown, dark, clear complexion, dark hair and eyes. Committed from Wellington on the 23rd October last, having been sentenced to seven days for theft, and was transferred from the Terrace Gaol. His father is a carpenter, living in Regent Street, Newtown, Wellington.
Samuel Hannam, licensed from the Burnham Industrial School, absconded from the service of Mr. Henry Boyle, farmer, Ellesmere, on the 10th ultimo. He is sixteen years and seven months of age, fair hair and complexion, grey or blue eyes ; dressed in a dark-tweed suit, light billycock hat, and laoa-up boots. He was committed from Christchurch on the 10th January, 1887.
