Brewarrina. —A warrant has been issued by the Brewarrina Bench for the arrest of a man named Armstrong, alias Bishop, charged with fraudulently obtaining the sum of £lB from John N. Plowman, of Beemery, near Brewarrina, on the 16th instant. Description: About twenty-two years of age, 6ft. high, slim build, knock-kneed, slovenly appearance, very small light moustache, dark complexion, cheeks slightly flushed ; dressed in blue-dungaree trousers, coloured shirt, and dark-felt hat; carrying a small swag with leather holdall inside. Supposed to have gone to Sydney en route to New Zealand.
