(From Gazette, 1895, pages 1460 and 1527.) Officers under “ The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” Waitaki-Waimate District, appointed. Colonial Secretary’s Office, Wellington, Ist October, 1895. IT is hereby notified that, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred by section 9 of “ The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” Constable Frank Stanley Parker and Constable Patrick Gough have been appointed officers for the purposes of that Act within the Waitaki-Waimate Acclimatisation District, consisting of the Counties of Waitaki and Waimate.
