Missing Friends.
Joseph Youngman is inquired for by the New Plymouth police, with the view of compelling him to contribute towards the support of his wife and children, who are destitute. Description : English, a pastry-cook, thirty-six years of age, sft. 7£in. high, slight build, fair hair and moustache, blue or grey eyes, fair complexion. He is of very intemperate habits, and it is thought may be drinking in some of the smaller towns between New Plymouth and Wellington.
James Murray is missing from Waiuku, Auckland District, since the night of the 6th ultimo. Description : About twenty-three years of age, about sft. 9in. high, very thin, pale complexion, blue-grey eyes, prominent Roman nose, thick brown curly hair, slight moustache; supposed to be wearing a black paget-suit.
Michael Stewart is inquired for by the Taranaki Charitable Aid Board for the purpose of compelling him to contribute towards the support of his mother. Description: Irish, a blacksmith, twenty-six years of age, sft. Bin. high, medium build, fair hair, very small side-board whiskers and moustache, slightly freckled; usually wore a dark-tweed suit and hard black hat; smart appearance.
