Waitotara. —Rakei reports stolen from the sandhills near Okehu, between the Ist November and 25th December last, a chestnut mare, hack breed, aged, about 15£ hands high, no visible brands, slit in one ear, small white star on forehead ; value £5.
Marton. —R. H. Homan, farmer, Pukehoe, reports stolen from a paddock between the 11th and 12th instant, a chestnut mare, aged, about 16 hands high, light hack breed, lump on off shoulder, long tail, no brand, not shod, a good trotter; value, £3O.
Gisborne. —Frederick John Lysnar reports stolen from a paddock, about the Ist instant, a chestnut mare, hack breed, about eight years old, about 14J hands high, one hind foot white, branded H on rump, indistinct brand on near shoulder, shod ; value, £l2.
