Missing Friends.
(See Police Gazette, 1895, page 73.) Wellington. —Mrs. Shackle has been found. She is residing at Hawera.
Hans Rassmussen is missing from No Town, near Greymouth, since the 28th ultimo. Description : A native of Sweden, a miner, fifty years of age, sft. lOin. or llin. high, respectable appearance, sandy hair and whiskers, left forefinger stiff; of temperate habits. He arrived from Coolgardie, Western Australia, about three months ago, and was working in a mining-claim at Red Jack’s for Mr. Jeremiah McCarthy, by whom inquiries are made.
