Stratford. —Thomas Kennedy reports stolen from his tent, East Road, on the 2nd or 3rd instant, a silver lever doubled-cased watch, makers Stewart, Dawson, and Co., No. 102403 ; value £3 10s.
Auckland. —Charles Broom, 1, Wakefield Street, reports stolen from the railway-station, on the 22nd ultimo, a red woollen travelling-rug, edges fringed; value £l. Identifiable.
Auckland. —John Urquhart, master, cutter “Fanny,” reports stolen from the cabin, on the 14th ultimo, two sailors’ bags, two grey blankets, a quilt, feather pillow, black-serge monkey-jacket, two vests (brown and grey tweed), three pairs of grey-tweed trousers, pair of new elastic-side boots, two pairs woollen drawers, a ready-reckoner, pocket Bible, two soft black-felt hats, a black sou’-wester, black-oilskin coat, 31b. tobacco, one dozen tin boxes of matches, 21b. tea, and four crimean-shirts ; value £lO Is. Identifiable.
Wellington. —Sydney Belson, second officer, ship “ Blenheim,” reports stolen from his berth, on the 16th instant, a Waterbury watch, gold chain (long links), and gold locket, book-shape, “ Faith, Hope, and Charity ” written in blue letters on the outside; value £5 10s.
Clive (Napier). —George Arnold, manager, Riverside fellmongery, Whakatu, reports stolen from off a horse, on the Bth instant, a new canvas cover, branded “ Riverside No. 3,” and “ Mills, maker; ” value £1 ss.

P. Worth’s Mexican saddle has been found, and is in possession of the Herbertville Police. The evidence is not considered sufficient to justify arrest of the suspect.
Waikaia. —John Mitchell reports stolen from off his horse, on the Bth or 9th instant, a new canvas cover with surcingle of the same material, and leather under-strap (branded 6MLL and “J. Mitchell ”), six holes; value £1 2s. Gd.
A (See Police Gazette, 1892, page 111.) Christchurch. —Maurice E. Denniston’s watch and chain have been recovered in possession of two boys, William and Leonard Brown, who were arrested by Chief Detective M. O’Connor.
Lyell. —William Watson and Henry Norris report stolen from their claim, at Murchison, on the 27th or 28th ultimo, about 3oz. of gold ; value £ll 11s.
Ngapara. —Richard Richmond, Duntroon, reports stolen, at Pokerahi, about the 3rd ultimo, an old colonial saddle, much worn, tree cracked, patched in front of D on near side and on off flap; value £llos. Suspicion attached to William James Speddingy for whose description, &c., see Police Gazette, 1892,pa!ges 40 and 80. Suspect was dressed in a new dark-tweed suit, and had an old black horse with only one eye. He left a valueless saddle behind, and has probably gone south. ffr, S*9%f
