From H.M.S. “ Curaroa,” at Lyttelton. Frederick J. Anderson, A. 8., lltli ultimo, a native of Plymouth, nineteen years of age, sft. high, fair hair, ' brown eyes, fair complexion, scar on forehead :
Orlando Hooper (of armed crew), 12th ultimo, a native of Devon, twenty-four years of age, sft. 4in. high, dark hair, blue eyes, dark complexion :
Warrants filed at Inspector’s Office, Christchurch. A reward of £3 each is offered for their arrest, in addition to £5 from the Colonial Government.
(See Police Gazette , 1891, pages 110 and 118.) John Melley and William Axworthy (not Atworthy, as reported), deserters from “ Curacoa,” have been arrested by the Christchurch Police.
