Patrick O’Connor is charged, on warrant with failing to support his son Charles, left with Ann Cairns, Wellington. Is supposed to have gone to Christchurch on the 2nd ultimo, and spoke of going to Kaiapoi, Lake Coleridge, or Lake Heron ; will most likely be found fishing or shooting ; took a gun with him.

Willie George is charged on warrant with deserting his wife at Petone, Wellington, since the 29th April last. Description : English, a sailor or labourer, fifty-two years of age, sft. 7in. high, medium build, fair complexion, light brown hair whiskers and moustache (whiskers cut short), blue eyes, large prominent nose, full features, some front teeth missing ; anchors, &c., tattooed on arms ; short quick walk, swings his arms very much ; dressed in blue-serge suit and soft-felt hat. Worked at Edward Barber’s, Petone, as gardener, and was seen at the last sittings of the Supreme Court, Wellington.
