Offender is qbout thirty-fivp//year's of age, sft. lOin. build,- fair complexion, reddish face, brown hair, rdoan^aVed 7 except fair moustache, rather roundshouldered ; wore coloured soft-felt hat and drab suit (walk-ing-coat); fljlt-footed, and/almost lame in one foot; generally wears lade-up or blucher^boots; a cattle-dealer; an Irishman. May try and leave the colony. James Dillon, charged on warrant with fraudulently selling mortgaged cattle, the property of Andrew G. Finlay, may possibly go to New Zealand. He has friends at Warnambool, Victoria. Sydney.—A warrant has been issued by the Central Police Bench for the arrest of three men, whose names are unknown but who can be identified, charged with stealing £SOO, the money of William Campbell, of 60, Union Street, Pyrmont, on the 21st instant. First man is about thirty years of age, sft. 9in. high, medium build, fair complexion, dark moustache only ; described as wearing black-waterproof cape and black

belltopper hat. Second, between twenty-five and thirty years of age, sft. Sin. or 9in. high, medium build, sandy moustache only ; dressed in blue sac-coat, grey-stripeu-tweed trousers, and black hard-felt hat. Third, thirty to thirty-five years of age, sft. 9in. high, medium build, red whiskers and moustache ; dressed in dark clothes. [Special inquiry is requested for these offenders, who arc said to he New Zealand magsmen, who went to Sydney about twelve months ago, and have since returned. If found, the prosecutor is prepared to come to this colony to identify them. Two of them are probably identical with George Henderson and the man charged with conspiring to defraud George Adams of £260 at Melbourne.
