Sydney.— A warrant has been issued by the Central Police Bench for the arrest of John Halliday, charged with childdesertion. lie is thirty-five years of age, sft. Sin. high, slight build, dark complexion, dark hair turning grey, dark moustache only; dressed in dark-tweed suit; an upholsterer. Left Sydney on the 2nd instant by s.s. “ Manapouri ” for Auckland. His father resides in Rose Street, Auckland, where he is supposed to have gone. Complainant, Adelaide Halliday, No. 17, Henry Street, off Little Devonshire Street.
