Missing Friends.
Information is requested respecting Charles Beale, fifty years of age, son of John Beale, ship-agent, late of Skinner Street, Bishopsgate Street, London. He left London by the ship “Maori” for Lyttelton, in 1855, in the capacity of under-steward, and has not since been heard of by his relatives. He is inquired for at the instance of his brother, George Beale, 13, Louis Street, Bedfern, Sydney.
Information is requested respecting James Hay, supposed Scotch, [a journalist, lately employed as reporter for the Timaru Herald, at Waimate, sixty years of age, sft. 6in. or 7in. high, gentlemanly appearance. He left Timaru by train, on the 13th July last, for Dunedin, and has not since been heard of.
