David Sampson, charged on warrant with disobeying an order to pay for the support of his illegitimate child, has been arrested by Constable John Hayes, Addington Police, and ordered to pay 4s. 6d. per week towards the child’s support.

Joseph Vincent, charged on warrant with failing to provide his child with adequate means of support, surrendered to Constable James Dale, Dunedin Police, and has been remanded to Timaru.
Robert Murdoch is charged, on warrant issued by the Te Awamutu Bench, with disobeying an order, since the 20th ultimo, to pay 7s. per week towards the support of his illegitimate child by Emily Winter, and £6 13s. costs, and to find two sureties in £25 each that he complies with the order, or in default six months’ imprisonment. Description : A native of Tyrone, Ireland, about thirty years of age, sft. 7in. high, stout build, very dark complexion, full dark beard whiskers and moustache. He is supposed to have gone to Sydney.

Martin Sales, charged on warrant with deserting his child, at Linwood, near Christchurch, has been arrested by Acting-Sergeant Daniel Hannan, Stafford Police, and ordered to pay 6s. per week towards the child’s support.

William Southgate, alias Harry Wicks, charged on warrant with deserting his wife and children, has been arrested by Constable Bernard McLaughlin, Dunedin Police, and remanded to Lyttelton.
William Griffin is charged, on warrant issued by the Christchurch Bench, with deserting his wife and three children at Willow Bank, Sydenham, since the stli April last. Description: A native of Armagh, Ireland, a gardener, (height or age not stated), medium build, fresh complexion, grey eyes, dark hair, full dark beard, small round head, round features, large forehead and mouth, straight nose, a space between two upper front teeth ; dressed in dark-tweed paget-coat and light-tweed trousers and vest. His wife and children are quite destitute.

George Henry Fletcher, charged on warrant of commitment to gaol in default of paying £lO, the amount of his estreated recognizance, and 6s. costs, has been arrested by Sergeant Andrew Clarke, Auckland Police.
