Missing Friends.

Information is requested respecting Thomas McKenzie, a native of England, a seaman, twenty-seven years of age, about sft. 7in. high, stout build, fair complexion, blue eyes, light - brown hair, clean - shaved except fair moustache ; generally wears navy-blue serge suit and black soft felt hat. He arrived at Hobart about two years ago by the steamer “Coptic,” and thence to Port Chalmers by the steamer “ Arawata.” He is inquired for in order that he may be proceeded against for the support of his illegitimate child by Elizabeth Boyd.

Information is requested respecting James Wright, a native of Scotland, a labourer, thirty-five years of age, 6ft. high, medium build, high shoulders, heavy reddish beard whiskers and moustache. He was heard of at Wellington in June, 1885. In January, 1885, a swag belonging to him was found on the bank of the Acheron River, Amuri District, containing a Bible, a constable’s memorandum-book with his name written inside, and the title-deeds for Lot 19, Section 15, Kapanga, Auckland District, and for Allotment G, Block VI., Forbury Town District, Dunedin.
