C. H. Buthvin, charged on warrant with stealing a gelding from Whangai, the property of Bichard Farrer, has been arrested by Constable Charles O’Beilly, Whangaroa Police, remanded to Kawakawa, and committed for trial.

The gelding, the property of Alfred Bates, supposed stolen from a paddock at Orari, Geraldine Boad, has been recovered.

The man charged with stealing a pony from Happy Valley j Nelson District, has been arrested by Constable Thomas Whitty, Waiau Police, and committed for trial. His name is Daniel Maloney. The pony is the property of Isaac Harvey, sen., and not of William Harvey, sen., as previously reported.
Supposed stolen on the 15th or 16th instant, from a paddock at Anderston, near Dunedin, a red cow, five years old, unbranded, had a wooden yoke on her neck to prevent her breaking through fences; the property of George Moran; » value £lO. Identifiable.
