Eenest Thompson is charged on warrant with false pretences on George P. Biggs, tailor, 8, Swanston Street, Melbourne, on the 26th ultimo. Description: An American, commission agent, about thirty years of age, sft. Sin. or 9in. high, slight build, stands erect, sharp features, fresh complexion which flushes when he is excited, full eyes, prominent teeth, hair curly and inclined to sandy, small fairish side-whiskers and moustache, chin shaved; wore melton green beaufort coat and vest, black-and-white-check tweed trousers with tinge of red in it, and black boxer hat. Speaks with a Yankee accent, and is seldom without a cigar in his mouth. Supposed to be in one of the adjacent colonies. Offender obtained a warehouseman’s certificate for goods from complainant, and obtained £IOO thereby.—o. 2047, 2nd April, 1886,
